I require a 25% non-refundable deposit when I accept your commission and before starting the painting. Turnaround time depends on how many commissions I have. Please let me know if you need the painting for a special occasion and I will try to accommodate you if possible. If you are interested in a portrait for Christmas I would suggest placing your order at least 1 month in advance.
When I have completed the portrait I will send you a digital copy via email. You will then have the opportunity to accept the painting or suggest changes to be made. When these changes are complete I will again send you a digital photo via email for your approval. Upon acceptance I require the balance due after which I will send the painting to you.
Send photos and 25% deposit to me either by postal mail or email. Your photos will be returned with your portrait. The photograph can be scanned and emailed to my email account at tidd@comcast.net for faster service. You can call me at 410-535-2166, Michele Tidd.
Photographing Your Pet
Here are some tips that will help you take the best pictures of your pet:
1. Try to get in close to your pet filling the frame with him rather than scenery. Always take extra close-ups of the face for detail.
2. Take the photographs at your pet's level or put him on a chair or table. It may be helpful to have someone distract your pet while you photograph him.
3. Outdoor lighting is best but flash is acceptable. Try to get accurate color. It is very important that the photographs are clear and accurate.
